CoS Signal Lab

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

CoS Signal Lab (the “Lab”) is a product of Adnova Group LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Lab, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’re based in the United States.

Information We Collect

What you give us during the diagnostic. The decisions you select and the short reasoning you pick as you work through the scenarios. If you ask us to email your report, or if you contact us, we collect the name and email you provide.

What we collect automatically. A single functional session identifier (stored in a secure cookie) so your run stays connected across screens. For abuse prevention we store a one-way hashed form of your IP address. We never store your raw IP. If the app hits an error, our error-monitoring tool may record technical details about that error so we can fix it.

How We Use Your Information

We use your diagnostic responses to score your run and generate your report, to deliver and let you re-open that report, to prevent abuse of the free diagnostic, to improve the Lab, and to respond to you when you contact us. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

How We Share Your Information

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the categories of service providers that run the Lab, and only so they can perform their function:

  • Hosting and database. Providers that host the application and store your run, responses, and report.
  • AI processing.Your reasoning text is sent to a third-party AI service to score your responses and write your coaching feedback. It’s sent for that purpose only and is not used to train the AI provider’s models. The specific AI provider may change over time.
  • Email delivery. A provider that sends report and notification emails when email is used.
  • Error monitoring. A provider that receives technical error data so we can diagnose and fix problems.
  • Product analytics. A provider that receives anonymous, aggregate usage events so we can see how the Lab is used and where it can improve. It never receives your name, email, or reflection text.

We choose reputable providers for these functions, and we can share the current list of the specific providers we use on request. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Lab. The diagnostic is currently free. If we add paid products later, we’ll add a payment processor and update this policy before you’re asked to pay.

Cookies and Analytics

The Lab uses an essential, functional cookie that keeps you signed in and your run connected. It isn’t used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We also use a privacy-preserving product-analytics service to understand, in aggregate, how the Lab is used, such as how many visitors move from the landing page to a completed report. It is anonymous: it counts page visits and a few product events, but we never send your name, email, or reflection text to it, and there is no session recording and no capture of your individual clicks or keystrokes. It sets an anonymous cookie so the same visitor isn’t counted twice.

Data Retention

We keep your run and report until you ask us to delete them. To request deletion, use our contact form or email us at the address below. We may keep a minimal record where the law requires it.

Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. If you’re in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We’ll respond to your request within 30 days. Reach us through the contact form or by email.

Security

We protect your information with database access controls (row-level security), encryption in transit, hashed rather than raw IP storage, and restricted access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children

The Lab is intended for working professionals and isn’t directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Lab evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Lab after an update means you accept the revised policy.
